Ph.D.Student
BIO
Guillermo Illán Ortega earned his degree in Biology from the Faculty of Biology at the University of Murcia (Spain) in 2022. Subsequently, he pursued a Master’s in Bioinformatics. During this program, he conducted his Master’s thesis at the Institute for Neuroscience UMH-CSIC, where he honed his skills in omics data analysis, particularly focusing on RNA-Seq analysis. He is currently a PhD student in the research group of Microbiology and Quality of Fruits and Vegetables at the Food Science & Technology Department at the CEBAS-CSIC institute in Murcia. His research is overseen by his director, Ana Allende, and co-director Pilar Truchado.
RESEARCH INTEREST
