BIO
Juan A. Tudela is an Agricultural Engineer with a specialization in Agri-food industries and obtained a Ph.D. at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena. He is a technical R+D at Spanish Research Council (CSIC) in the Food Science and Technology Department at CEBAS-CSIC institute in Murcia, Spain. He has participated in different projects with public funds as well as private technology transfer contracts.
RESEARCH INTEREST
His research activity has been oriented to studying and applying different pre and post-harvest technologies to improve the quality and safety of fresh fruits and vegetables. His expertise is in the field of data science, water treatment, fresh-cut processing, and packaging.
